Chris has practiced in orthopedic based physical therapy for ten years in both the acute care and outpatient settings. He has focused on the outpatient setting and specialized in manual therapy, post surgical rehabilitation, industrial rehabilitation, spinal dysfunction, body mechanics training and sport specific training including running gait analysis and marathon training. He is the clinical manager here at Proformance Rehab.
Education/Backgound
- Bachelor of Science in Health Science; Boston University
- Master of Science in Physical Therapy: Boston University
- Completed coursework for the North American Institute of Manual Therapy(NAIOMT) level II and working towards certification in level III.
- Completed other continuing education in the topics of shoulder dysfunction, orthotic therapy, total joint replacement and running gait analysis.
Activities/Interests
Kayaking, running, soccer, backpacking, mountain and road cycling, skiing
Currently participating with Super Jock 'n Jill Running Store monthly in their medical night, providing advice and support regarding running/walking injuries, training and appropriate footwear.
