Areas of interest include spine and sacroiliac joint dysfunction, sports rehabilitation, and movement pattern re-education to treat repetitive trauma/overuse syndromes.
Melissa’s treatment approach combines manual therapy, posture and movement re-education, core stabilization and functional strengthening with the goal to optimize movement patterns in order to get patients back to the activities that are most important to them.
Strong emphasis is placed on patient education and providing the individual with tools that will allow them to obtain their goals and continue to be successful at home.
In her free time, Melissa enjoys spending time outdoors. Passions of hers include running, triathlons, camping, and mountain biking.
